This S5£ Mint State Coin is in stunning Proof condition - certified PF70 UCAM by NGC.  Celebrate five centuries of British numismatic history with this outstanding 2026 Great Britain £5 “500 Years of the Gold Crown” silver proof coin. Issued by The Royal Mint to commemorate the 500th anniversary of the first English gold crown introduced in 1526, this impressive collector coin combines historic Tudor symbolism with the modern coinage portrait of King Charles III.

The reverse features an ornate crowned Tudor rose surrounded by the inscription “ANNIVERSARY OF THE GOLD CROWN” and the commemorative dates “1526–2026.” The obverse displays the official portrait of King Charles III, surrounded by a decorative border incorporating five roses to represent the five centuries being celebrated.

This example has been professionally certified by NGC as PF 70 Ultra Cameo, the highest numeric grade available. The Ultra Cameo designation recognizes the coin’s exceptional contrast between its deeply mirrored proof fields and sharply frosted design elements. The coin was also certified as First Releases meaning the coin was received within 30 days of release by the Royal Mint.
