Presented here is an original torch from the Games of the XXII Olympiad (Moscow 1980). This specimen was manufactured at the Klimov Plant in Leningrad. The item’s primary collector value lies in the clear factory mark featuring an early three-digit serial number ("728") on the underside of the burner, as well as authentic traces of its use in the relay—specifically, the characteristic dark soot residue from the combustion of the original gas mixture at the base of the bowl. The body is crafted from an aluminum alloy, with the protective decorative bowl featuring a gold-colored anodized finish and the official emblem of the Games. The white handle bears the inscription "Moscow - Olympics - 1980." All components and the body's geometry are original, free from modern alterations or restoration.
