Up for sale is a superb pair of antique dental tooth extraction forceps. This heavy, forged-steel tool features the highly desirable "curled handle" design, which provided the dentist with maximum leverage.


The pivot joint is smooth, and the grip texture on the handles is still well-defined.


Condition:


Excellent Antique Condition. This piece has been carefully and lightly cleaned to remove surface rust, revealing a gorgeous, smooth grey steel finish.


The critical "BOSTON" maker’s mark is now sharp and easily readable (see close-up photos). The forging quality is exceptional, showing typical 19th-century craftsmanship.
