SEALED ; PHIDEAUX - AutoMoto Animus digipak cd barcode 826677011114

Studio Album, released in 2026 Label: Bloodfish Music Format: CD, July , 2026

Phideaux Xavier’s AutoMoto Animus is a sweeping, dystopian conceptual album that serves as an ambitious and cinematic return for the progressive rock visionary. Blending symphonic prog, heavy riffs, and theatrical storytelling, it delivers a brooding sci-fi narrative steeped in cosmic dread and modern technological decay

Key Details & Musical HighlightsThe Sound: The album merges lush orchestration and complex, multi-layered arrangements with highly accessible, grooving melodies. Listeners will hear shades of 1970s Alice Cooper, ELO, and Pink Floyd, all wrapped in a dark, post-punk and Gothic-rock edge.Standout Tracks: The opener "Do What U Will" is a stomping, Orwellian spectacle, while "Stay with Me" provides a beautifully desperate romantic reprieve. "Hey Humanity" acts as a conversational, slightly Beatle-esque fable featuring soaring harmonies and wailing electric guitars. The Concept: The narrative leans heavily into Moebius-style comic book aesthetics, tackling materialism, human folly, and true crime. It brilliantly juxtaposes heavy, metallic aggression with sweeping, symphonic grace.Guest Performances: The album heavily features Phideaux's lush vocal work, stunning wailing leads, and the shivering, angelic vocal stylings of Valerie Gracious, which have become a signature staple of the project.
