Shogun 1986 Board Game MB Gamemaster Samurai Swords Vintage Retro Strategy
Original 1986 Milton Bradley Gamemaster Series edition of Shogun, a strategy board game set in 16th-century feudal Japan. Designed for 2–5 players aged 12 to adult.
Includes the folding map board, rulebook, reference screens and army cards, province cards, battle markers, dice, plastic playing pieces, castles, fortifications, foam planning trays, master tray, sword holders, counters and box.
All components have been counted and appear to be present, but completeness cannot be guaranteed as I am not fully familiar with the game. Please study the photographs; the set is sold as seen.
Two of the five original turn-order swords are missing. A complete third-party set of five 3D-printed replacement swords is included, marked for positions one to five with red-coloured diamond details, allowing the game to remain playable. The three original swords will also be supplied for preservation or display.
Condition: Used and stored as part of a long-term collection. The outer box has substantial storage wear, rubbing, marks, edge and corner damage, and staining to the underside and inner lid. The map board has visible spotting, marks and general surface wear, including around the folds. Cards, screens, trays, counters and plastic pieces show age-related use and handling. No gameplay testing has been carried out beyond counting the components, so this set is sold as seen.
