Overview

THE BATTLE OF THE ARMADA

The full story of the Spanish Armada is a fascinating piece of history. Starting as a great adventure it ended as a human tragedy on a massive scale. This simulation attempts to capture five days of the Armada's journey, the five days it took for the huge fleet to make its way south of Plymouth to the Isle of Wight. The Armada was a very real invasion threat to England, but the clash of politics, religion, intrigue and misunderstanding was also very real. The Battle of The Armada offers you the chance to take the helm as Lord Howard, defending the English coastline against the attacking Spanish, or even re-write history by leading the invasion fleet against the likes of Howard, Drake, and Frobisher.

THE BATTLE OF GETTYSBURG

The Battle of Gettysburg is a wargame simulation from the American Civil War. The battle featured was a massive confrontation between 70,000 troops under the charismatic General Lee and 90,000 Union soldiers under the dry and calculating General Meade. It was the pivotal battle of the American Civil War. History tells us that Lee lost the battle but with Gettysburg you can re-write history. Can you guide the Rebels to victory and change the course of American history? Would you be able to defeat Lee and ensure a Union victory? The choice and the challenge are yours.

THE BATTLE OF WATERLOO

The Battle of Waterloo was fought on 18th June 1815. Near the small village of Waterloo, Wellington decided to make his stand, against an advancing French army of 72,000 men. It brought together two commanders of somewhat different temperament. Napoleon's strategic skill had already wrong footed his opponents before the battle started. He had won so many battles before Waterloo that his mere presence on the battlefield was "worth 40,000 men". Napoleon's tactics were invariably offensive; he always attacked! Wellington's greatest strength was his sound defensive tactics, he used terrain and concealment to its fullest advantage. The battle of Waterloo signalled the end of Napoleon's conquests. Can you re-write history?

As mentioned the game has been tested on either an Atari 520 STFM. As much as I love playing these games, and believe me I do lose a lot of time sometimes when testing games, I can only test them up to the point of the gameplay starting. There is no way that I have the time or the ability to play every game through to the end.

With this in mind and due to the medium that they are on I cannot guarantee that the disk will not have any errors further into the game.
All of these games are well over 20 years old so there is a chance that a game could fail at some point, regardless of where it was purchased from.

When purchasing this game please keep in mind the model and specifications of your Atari.

If you have any questions in relation to this product and compatibility with your model of Atari computer then I am happy to answer any questions if I know the answer. I would recommend Google to search for the answer to your question as this is far more knowledgeable than I am and you can bet that someone has already asked the question you have.
