This auction is for Vintage Original Bamforth Comic Pencil Sketch Pre Postcard Artwork . 

From the 1940s artwork not signed . I think by Doug Tempest. ( the Bamforth artwork in house style is so similar , it's hard to tell ).

EQUESTRIAN , HORSE RIDING , BBW LARGE LADY Theme . 

THE FIRST & SECOND PHOTOS HAVE BEEN ENHANCED TO SHOW DETAILS OF SKETCH . THERE IS NOTHING ON THE REVERSE.  

This pencil Sketch as far as I know as not been made into postcard watercolour artwork .

Pencil sketch on thin paper , a one off piece of original Bamforth art  .

PLEASE NOTE THE ARTWORK IS LARGER THAN A POSTCARD on 265 mm x 205 mm thin paper

These pencil sketches were pre postcard ideas , where Bamforth artists , reps and Derek Bamforth would decide which would go forward to be made into postcard artwork .

Many were sent to the Isle Of Man & Blackpool postcard censors to see if they would be APPROVED OR DISAPPROVED for sale there .

Great condition for it's age.
