Basic functions tested and working. Power turns on, the platter spins and locks at both 33 and 45 RPM via the Quartz-PLL direct drive, and the start/stop and speed controls respond correctly. The oil-damped static-balance tonearm moves smoothly and the counterweight and anti-skate operate as intended; please note the tonearm is supplied without a headshell or cartridge. The rosewood plinth shows a high-gloss finish with light surface scuffs and minor handling marks around the edges, and there is some faint wear to the wood consistent with age, but overall it remains in good condition. The serial number is AH 54721. As Pioneer's flagship-derived model using SH rotor motor technology, it comes with the included OYAIDE PA2075 low-loss phono cable and original manual. Please note: this unit is designed for Japanese AC 100V. A step-down transformer is required for use outside Japan.
