The Besson New Standard is a vintage B♭ flugelhorn featuring a traditional British-style design.
It produces a warm, mellow sound with a clear and responsive tonal character. Its rich, rounded tone makes it suitable for brass bands, concert bands, jazz ensembles, and solo performance.
The large yellow brass bell provides a broad, resonant sound, while the satin silver-plated finish gives the instrument a distinctive and elegant vintage appearance.
■Condition■
The instrument shows general signs of use, including minor scratches throughout.
There is some cloudy discoloration on the body. There are also several small dents throughout the instrument that may be difficult to see in the photos.
The instrument has been internally cleaned. The tuning slides and pistons operate properly.
