En el reverso de la moneda se muestra una composición lineal del Pabellón Central de la UNI como eje visual en la franja inferior. Sobre el edificio se aprecia al lado derecho el texto "150 Años", cuyo dígito cero está representado por una rueda de engranaje. Al lado izquierdo figura el escudo institucional de la universidad.

En el anverso de la moneda figura el Escudo de Armas, el texto “BANCO CENTRAL DE RESERVA DEL PERÚ”, el año de acuñación y la denominación “UN SOL”.
