You can buy a used N64 on eBay which will likely have dirty console cartridge slot and you may need to wiggle games about to get them to work and it will probably come with dirty dusty games. The controller could have loose joystick from wear and tear as the gears and bowls will be worn down with Old memory cards with dead batteries. COULD BE A TICKING TIME BOMB
Or you can buy one from me this has had the internal components & cartridge slot cleaned with electrical cleaner. Had a new jumper pak installed. All game contacts have been cleaned and the game work great first time. Controller is tested and the joystick has plenty of travel. Also new memory pak for saving. So this will be great for lots of playing to come NO HASSLE SAFER OPTION

used console but good, used game but good, signs of use are likely present , outer box will have use rips and tares scuffs ect well used but still functions as a box, has a modern poly insert to keep everything in place which although new may have some dings or bumps. The value is the internal restoration of this console as it plays great and should last years to come after a full service

If you use this one cartridge you won't be bending the pins back putting different games in and out or getting old games dirt on the console pins. Plus you will save a fortune on buying games. Or if you collect original games you can keep them safe from over use wear and tare by playing all your games from the flash cart. And just get the collection out for special occasions. Also great to try new RARE OR EXPENSIVE games you might buy in future to see if you want them
