The superb Oxford Aviation "Front Line Fighters" US Navy Brewster Buffalo VMF 221 (221-MF-6) of US Marine Corps, MCAS EWA, Hawaii, 1941.
The model is presented in a card window box & can be displayed on the display stand provided.
This dumpy little fighter aircraft makes its Oxford appearance here as it served with the VMF-221 US Marine Corps in Hawaii in 1941. Despite its dark sea grey upper body and pale grey underside, it looks very patriotic with red, white and blue US decals featuring prominently on the fuselage, wings and rudder. Its numbering 221-MF-6 is printed in black along both sides of the fuselage. A finite authentic detail also sees the black gun sight placed in front of the clear cockpit frame.
