This is a nice set of 3 Prisoner of War envelopes sent from family members in Mitcham, Surrey to a Sergeant W.A.C. Turner who was being held Prisoner by the Germans at a concentration camp in Aumale, in Algeria, North Africa. All three envelopes still have their original stamps with readable postmarks which are all from 1941. These will be sent with FREE UK P+P.

THE BORING BUT IMPORTANT STUFF

Please note that, unless requested otherwise, my UK items now get sent via normal Royal Mail. This is because the item can now be 'delivery tracked' online so that I know it has been delivered safely and from which sorting office. This helps reduce postage costs which in the end helps all of us.

Postage quoted is for the UK only so if you live overseas and would like a postage quote then please contact me BEFORE bidding. Postage to overseas will ALWAYS be via Tracked and Signed due to the number of parcels 'disappearing' once on foreign soil. I do post to International.

I always, where possible, reduce postage for multiple wins / buys so please take a quick look at my other varied and interesting items.

Thank you.
