OEM Staggered Style 37 M-Par Forged Alloy Wheels, RESTORED Anthracite Metallic

 

This is a refurbished set of wheels that is second to none! Note this a complete set of staggered four wheels done in a anthracite metallic powdercoat with a clear coat.  I've not included as many photos as I normally do because there are not enough flaws to document.
  • OEM E38 740i and 750i optional alloy wheels in good condition.
  • BMW PN 36 11 2 229 730 Front

  • Size = 18x8, offset = 13mm Front
  • Size = 18x9.5, offset = 25mm Rear
  • Lug spacing is 5 on 120 mm.
  • Center bore = 72.56 mm. 
  • Fully Restored. 
    • This included a chemical dip to remove all paint, followed verifying the wheels were true, and repairing some minor curb rash on the rear wheels.  There were no flat spots or structural damages to three of the wheels. One front wheel had a couple of bends on the back barrel, so the wheel was repaired by a wheel professional.  Note there are some deflection marks on the inside of back barrel, which can be seen only when you view the wheel from the back side.
    • The entire wheel (minus the mounting pad) was then powdercoated with a metallic anthracite resin.  This color coat was followed by a clear powdercoat to provide a very thick and glossy durable finish.  
    • The finish is outstanding everywhere with complete coverage with minimal orange peal texture.   There are no very small flaws on the spokes, but one 2 mm diameter small mark on the outer barrel of one rear wheel and a small mark on the very edge of lip on the other rear wheel.  See photos. Please use the zoom feature to examine.  
    • Very good used OEM center caps fit with OEM Roundels are included. 
    • New M logos were installed.
    • The 60 degree conical seat lug hole surfaces were reamed and the mounting pad was sanded to make sure all the powdercoat was removed from these critical surfaces. 
    • I have spun each wheel on a balancer and verified that it is 100% trued and straight. 

You will be hard pressed to find a nicer set of these wheels! At least one photo of each wheel is shown below.  Supersize to see the details.

These wheels will fit BMWs of the '70s, '80s, and '90s with minimal modification (hubcentric rings necessary).  If you have an E36 or E46 and want to have the wheels fill the fenders by about 3/4 inch or more, then this set might be the right for you. 

These will not fit an E39 because the center bore holes should be enlarged to 74.1mm.

Packaging.  I ship wheels in pairs so this set will go out in 2 boxes.  Each pair is double-boxed, with rigid foam material between each box.   This adds some cost, but my wheels never get damaged in transit.

Domestic Shipping: $195 in the lower 48 states by Fedex Ground.  If you are close to San Diego come pick them up and do not pay shipping fees.

RETURNS.  Aardvarc take great pride in providing used and restored wheels that are packaged and shipped in the condition described.  We are experts in the field and do not offer items that are defective.  Once wheels leave our facility, damages can occur.  We encourage the buyer to open and fully inspect this set of wheels within 3 days of receipt and make any "not as described" claims within this period.   In the event the buyer is not pleased with the wheels due to Aardvarc's error in not properly describing the wheels or as a result of transport, Aardvarc will accept and pay for return shipping of the wheels, and will make a full refund or make the appropriate repairs and ship the wheel(s) back to the buyer at Aadvarc's expense.  If the buyer's installer damages a wheel, Aardvarc is willing to make any repairs at the buyer's expense.  If the buyer  has "buyer's remorse" and wants to return the wheels because they do not fit his car or are not the correct color, size, or other aspect, Aardvarc will accept a return and refund buyer's full payment minus the original shipping cost and a 10% restocking fee.  In other words, be sure you want this set of wheels.
