Black Pentax SV SLR & Asahi Meter w/ Super-Takumar 55mm f/1.8 

This is a nice condition version of the rare black paint Pentax SV SLR Camera, complete with an Asahi Pentax accessory light meter, and a Super-Takumar 55mm f/1.8 Lens. The complete package is in very nice shape and is working well. The only note is that the shutter at the 1s speed is a bit slow.

Cosmetic Condition

  • Nice condition for its age, but there is some wear to the body and the paint, with some brassing and rough areas on the paint
  • Viewfinder is mostly clean and clear, but there are a few dust/dirt specs, and one small black thread
  • The meter has some wear to the black paint and rear chrome area

Optics

  • Haze: None
  • Fungus: None
  • Scratches / Cleaning Marks: None
  • Internal Dust: Almost None
  • Separation: None

Functionality

  • Camera winds and fires properly
  • Shutter speeds all look good, except for 1s, which looks like it hangs up ever so slightly on curtain return
  • Focus is smooth, maybe just a bit light feeling
  • Aperture stops down correctly on both M and A modes
  • Light meter is working and responsive, although I can't guarantee accuracy
