This is an Illustration Rare, one of the most sought-after rarities of the series: the full-art illustration tells a narrative scene borderless, with a holographic finish.
The artwork, illustrated by Takumi Wada, shows Skarmory perched on a metal structure beneath a stormy sky streaked with dark clouds and breaks of light — a train or aircraft glimpsed in the background. The Armor Bird Pokémon of Johto, its body entirely encased in steel armor and its razor-sharp feathers said to have once been used as blades, portrayed in an atmospheric, dramatic painterly style.
GRAAD 9.5 MT+ grade: Mint+ condition card, with top-tier centering, corners and surface. Sealed, intact slab.
