【WWII Victory Prayer Dedication】Rare 1941 Handcrafted Japanese Samurai Kabuto Helmet (Weight: Approx. 2.2kg / 4.9lbs) with Wooden stand
This is an extremely rare and historically significant Japanese Samurai Kabuto (helmet), handcrafted by a master artisan over 80 years ago during a pivotal moment in world history.
On the inside of the helmet, there is a prominent hand-written ink inscription (Sumigaki) on Japanese paper: "大東亜戦争必勝祈念奉納 昭和辛巳十六年拾月弐拾日" (Translation: Dedicated in Prayer for Victory in the Great East Asia War, October 20, Showa 16 [1941])
This inscription indicates that the helmet was custom-made and dedicated to a shrine or temple on October 20, 1941—just 1.5 months before the outbreak of the Pacific War.
