In one handy volume it gives an excellent picture of Britain's Army as it was organised in 1943, and except for minor changes the information is representative of the whole of the World War 2 period. The depth of coverage extends to a list of official abbreviations, telephone line tags, and the preparation of movement orders and transport scales. For this new edition many pictures have been added and errors made in the original book have been corrected.
