Description
FUJIGEN(FGN) Neo Classic NST200RAL-SP ~Shell Pink~ #L240053 [3.44kg]
Fujigen is a long-established Japanese manufacturer founded in 1960.
The name "Fujigen" is derived from Mount Fuji, embodying the company's ambition to be the best in Japan at instrument making.
They played a key role in the establishment of Fender Japan in 1982 and achieved the world's highest guitar shipment volume the following year—a track record that truly lives up to their name.
The greatest appeal of Fujigen-made guitars lies in their robust construction, underpinned by impeccable craftsmanship.
This quality is clearly evident in details you can see and feel, such as the precision of the neck joint and the meticulous finishing of the fret edges.
The Neo Classic series (NST) is based on the traditional Stratocaster style but incorporates modern elements throughout to meet contemporary needs.
The "NST200," a high-end model within this series, features premium specifications such as Seymour Duncan pickups and a lacquer top-coat finish.
They have overcome the common issue where strings and frets do not intersect at a perfect right angle by utilizing their "Circle Fretting System"—a technology where frets are installed in a gentle arc.
The result is a reliable instrument that offers the playability demanded of modern guitars, including excellent chord separation and clear attack.
The guitar also features a "compound radius" fretboard, which is tighter (more curved) at the lower frets and gradually flattens out toward the higher frets.
This design makes it easy to grip the neck in the lower positions while simultaneously solving the common problem where a tight radius makes it difficult to lower the string action.
"Luminlay" (glow-in-the-dark material) is used for the side position markers.
Since they glow in the dark, visibility is outstanding even on stage.
The hardware components are sourced from Gotoh, another trusted Japanese brand, ensuring impeccable precision and durability. Locking tuners are also employed to ensure rock-solid tuning stability.
It features classic 1960s specifications, utilizing maple for the neck, rosewood for the fretboard, and alder for the body. It features the classic and popular Seymour Duncan SSL-1 pickups, delivering a refined, clear sound with a vintage character that is also easy to shape.
The control layout is unique, consisting of one volume, one tone, and one blender control. The blender function allows you to gradually mix in the middle pickup as you turn the knob from 10 down to 0. When the lever switch is in the neck position, the middle pickup blends in series with the neck pickup; in the bridge position, it blends in series with the bridge pickup. This allows you to achieve humbucker-like tones despite the standard 3-single-coil (3S) configuration. (In the "half-tone" positions, turning the knob toward 0 gradually shifts the output to just the middle pickup.)
Additionally, the top-lacquer finish provides a distinctive, lustrous "wet" look and allows the instrument to age beautifully over time, developing unique character.
This model offers a high-level blend of tradition and modernity.
We invite you to consider adding this exceptional instrument to your collection.
