An original hand written ledger, dated 1826. Entries for purchases lumber, boards, nails, etc. Hard cover, poor shape as shown. Mentions of Carlisle PA, Gettysburg and Mechanicsburg and other towns. Many pages were pasted over years later, up until the later 1800's, with newspaper clippings, etc. The ones that are not are interesting as they have the names of the men who purchased the lumber, the amount, the prices and when paid. So some of these men were early settlers of the area. Measures 12 1/2"" by 8", hard cover. Selling as found. Still has historical value.
