This is a used close to Mint All Original Vintage late 1961 Fender Musicmaster Neck (#551). The Neck date on the neck butt is 9-61. The neck looks unplayed and doesn't show any signs of use on the frets or the Dark Rosewood Slab Fretboard. The neck has all of its original vintage finish with no overspray or extra finish added anywhere on the neck, and the Original Fender Musicmaster Decal is in Excellent Condition. This is a 22-1/2" scale neck with 21 frets, and 1-1/2" at the nut. The Fender Nut is original with no breaks or cracks and is in Excellent condition. The Dark Rosewood Slab Fret Board, shows no use or wear and is in Excellent Condition with its original Fender Clay dot markers that are in Excellent Condition. There isn't any sign of use or wear, with no divots or grooves on the frets, fretboard, or back of the neck, as shown in the photos. The neck is straight with no twist or bends, and the neck rod nut is adjustable. The back of the neck is also in Excellent Condition. The original flat top Fender 50's style tuner ferrules are still installed, and have never been removed, so no chip out. The tuner head has no extra tuner holes, modifications or extra string tree holes, and accepts the original Fender Kluson Tuners. This neck came with Original Single Line Fender Kluson tuners, which are listed separately.
