Distorted Force ́s music delves into the dark abysses of this world, into the hidden fears of the human psyche, and into the arduous struggles of its heroes. Yet their music manages to offer the listener a catharsis that stems above all from the intensity and emotional depth of the adventure. Beyond genre boundaries and personal preferences, “Angelic Bloodshed” is a wonderful musical challenge and offers a home to every lover of this sound who is willing to give it a Chance.
For those who aren’t yet familiar with them: Their discography began in 2010 with their self-titled EP, followed by “A Dead Man’s Dream” (2011) and “Depersonalization” (2012). Always staying true to progressive rock, they refined their sound with albums such as “Fields in Desolation” (2013), “Taken by Force” (2014), and “Curves of Sidereal Cosmos” (2018). In 2023, their album “Angelic Bloodshed” was released on the French label Soman Records, which is the focus of this presentation.
