This vintage KING Silver Sonic cornet features a sterling silver bell with a gold-plated inner bell, producing the rich, brilliant tone that has made the Silver Sonic series highly regarded among players and collectors. The bell is beautifully engraved, making this an attractive vintage instrument with distinctive character.
■Condition■
The inner bell is gold-plated, and the bell features the original engraving with a solid, undamaged rim. The pistons and tuning slides move freely with no signs of sticking. There are no major dents, but the instrument shows minor scratches, small dings, and areas of lacquer wear consistent with its age. Please note the following: (1) there is a scratch near the engraving on the third valve slide, (2) the finger hook has a previous solder repair, and (3) the brace connecting the bell to the mouthpipe requires solder repair at the bell side. As this is a vintage instrument, please purchase with an understanding of its age and condition. Please refer to the photos for further details.
