■Condition■

This is a vintage V. Bach 180M SP Mt. Vernon Bb trumpet, approximately 60 years old.

The instrument has been serviced prior to listing, including general maintenance, water key cork replacement, and polishing.

Due to its age, the instrument shows scratches and small dents consistent with normal use. Aside from a repaired dent on the bell bow, there is no significant damage that affects its overall appearance or playability.

Most of the silver plating remains in good condition with no widespread lifting or peeling. It is believed to be the original silver plating, although it cannot be confirmed whether it has been replated.

The third valve top cap has no engraving and may not be original.

While the instrument appears to have a heavy build, it offers a surprisingly light and responsive playing feel. Although it features an M bore, it performs similarly to many modern ML bore trumpets.

The originality of certain parts cannot be verified, as detailed manufacturer records are unavailable. Please evaluate the photos carefully before purchasing.

Depending on future use and playing preferences, additional maintenance or adjustment may be recommended.
