This is an elegant and timeless, white ceramic dish. The pheasant is in excellent condition. There are no chips or cracks. There is wear to the underside of the lid where the lid sits against the dish. There is wear on the inside edge of the dish from where the lid sits. There are no chips or cracks on the main body of the dish. There appears to be a small defect on the base of the dish. The bottom is in green ink and says a APILCO France inside a green oval it says porcelaine a feu above that. There is a number nine engraved into the ceramic base at the bottom.
