Black Pentax ES 35mm SLR Film Camera w/ SMC Takumar 55mm f/1.8 Lens

This Pentax ES camera and lens combo has been tested and is working great, including the light meter and automatic modes. It's very clean all over, but the lens does have a small haze patch, and the viewfinder has a black horizontal line running through it. A nice working kit, but please read the details below.

Cosmetic Condition

  • Beautiful condition for its age, showing light signs of use, including some light marks, and some light brassing on edges
  • The viewfinder has a couple dirt/dust specs, but is still bright
  • *There is a black horizontal line that runs the length of the viewfinder, likely prism de-silvering. I've included a picture of it, but it looks much different when your eye is up to the finder, where it's out of focus. Still very much usable, and doesn't affect the operation of the camera, but it is there. 

Optics

  • Haze: Light haze patch inside the lens, only noticeable when shining a torch through
  • Fungus: None
  • Scratches / Cleaning Marks: Minimal, if any
  • Internal Dust: Minimal
  • Separation: None

Functionality

  • The camera has been tested with a battery and winds and fires properly in both manual and automatic modes
  • Light meter is working correctly
  • Shutter speeds all look good
  • Focus is smooth and aperture is working well
Overall a nice clean kit, with a few minor issues that shouldn't affect image making.
