Here is a nice vintage. Golden Amber glass, approx 6.625" tall, square with beveled corners, BIM (Blown In Mold), tooled sloping collar with ring, bitters bottle, embossed on front panel: Steketee's Blood / Purifying Bitters. Circa 1885–1895. Rare smaller size, and certainly very rare in this un-dug, attic-type condition. Put out by a Grand Rapids, Mich. druggist, it is an unusual size for a bitters. Too large for a sample, but probably less than a pint in capacity. This is bottle S-188 in Bitters Bottles by Carlyn Ring & W.C. Ham and is listed as RARE.

Condition: Near Mint, un-dug, just a tiny, 1/8” iridescent bruise on a panel edge (see close up picture above), very minor, otherwise virtually ‘out-of-the-mold’ pristine condition. NO other chips, cracks or dings. See pictures above. I grade this one a 9.5 on a scale of 1 to 10.
