3" Strawberry Opal polished palm stone from Peru.  This aesthetic palm stone is carved from natural Strawberry Opal from Peru featuring deep pink hues through the stone.  This recent find of pink Opal from the Andes Mountains range in Peru shows bolder hues of pink than most pink opal.  Opal is a variety of Quartz that lacks a crystal structure, formed when silica combines with water and fills in cracks within host rock.  The piece is hand polished to a smooth finish around the stone.
