Alsta has been around producing high-quality products since WWII. But most people know the brand for it's famous part in the movie the original “Jaws” film from 1975, Richard Dreyfus portrays an enthusiastic oceanographer Matt Hooper. It was Hooper who immortalised the Alsta Superautomatic on the Speidel Mach 1 porthole bracelet.

There is some discoloration to back side of the band- the part going against the skin. The metal part going into the closure is a bit bent but holds the bracelet together due to a saftey catch. Case has some minor scratches, most could be buffed. The crystal is in very good condition. The Dial could use a slight cleaning but for age is in excellent condition. The watch runs & keeps time. Not sure the last time the watch was serviced, there are no service records.
