BAIRSTOW MANOR POTTERY CHARACTER JUG

Up for sale I have this wonderful, highly detailed new 'King Charles III' Character jug from Bairstow Manor Pottery in Staffordshire. This medium size jug has been produced to commemorate the Coronation of King Charles III on 6 May 2023 and is hand-made and hand-painted and issued in a limited edition of no more than 500. To date, far fewer than that have been produced and this jug is numbered 37.

The character jug is 16cm high to the top of the cross on the crown and is brand new and obtained direct from Bairstow Manor. The jug is 1st quality and is fully stamped underneath (see photo).

All Manor Pottery jugs are hand made and painted and so minor surface marks and scratches are not unusual. On this one there are just some of the usual additional paint dots/lines and surface crazing lines in the finish (see close-up photos). Like all Bairstow Manor items these do not come with certificates or boxes.

A wonderful jug to add to any collection. These jugs are very difficult to produce and are very intricate and detailed in their construction
