These are new Old stock matches from the 1990s .

Approximately 40 matches in each box so a total of 240 matches

Rare as these I’ve been out of production for a long time now.

You will receive six of either the blue ‘Mills news’ matchboxes or six of the red and white ‘May news’

If you have a preference, please send me a message to indicate which you would prefer.

Both will have come from a cellophane sealed pack, as shown in the pictures which I open in order to post, this keeps the postage cost down.

If you wish to have a sealed pack posted, then I can do this at a small additional cost of £1.45.

Although these are called ‘strike anywhere’ matches, they need to be struck on a rough surface like a stone, brick, tile grout or rough wood or leather.

The striker on the side of the box is sandpaper and can also be used, but these can be struck on the rough surface of vesta cases as originally used..
