We have created the 'World's First IMAX 70mm Film 3D Stereoscope Card' featuring scenes the beautiful IMAX film 'BORN TO BE WILD 3D'.  These 3D Cards offer  a viewer a truly unique experience truly appreciating the sharpness & resolution offered by the IMAX 3D theatre experience.  These custom cards can be placed into any typical Stereoscopic Card Holder (from those of the 19th Century all the way to the modern 'Owl Stereoscopic Viewer') produced by the 'London Stereoscopic Company'.

How It's Made:  

• 1st.  We created a special 3D printed holder for this ultra-rare 3D IMAX 70mm film.  The white base is designed  to house this film and specifically designed with extremely thin sections to allow light to pass through the film allowing it to be backlit.
• 2nd.  The matching 'Left and Right' film cells of a particular scene are placed into this 2-part holder which is then snapped into place. 
• 3rd.  The film is not damaged in this process and the holder can be easily opened if required later to access and remove the IMAX film cells.

Dimensions:   These Stereoscopic Cards measure 7" wide (17.8cm) x 3.7" tall (9.4 cm).  Note:  The 3D Owl Stereoscopic Card Holder/viewers are not included.

IMAX 70mm Film:  This re-purposed film originates from our collection - it comprised of both the left and right cells.  'BORN TO BE WILD 3D' released in 2011 features scenes of both the Kenyan Savannah and the Rainforests of Borneo  **There are 9 (Nine) different scenes of this film that are available.
