Rod Prouse is a Canadian artist born in London, England. A graduate of the Ontario College of Art (1968), he now lives and works on the shores of Georgian Bay in Ontario.

Originally known for his landscapes, Prouse's work has evolved into layered, process-driven compositions that explore memory, place, and narrative. Through expressive mark-making, hidden imagery, and rich textures, he creates immersive paintings that invite viewers to discover their own meanings and interpretations.
