Vintage Playboy Club - London matchbook

-a classic piece of mid-century hospitality ephemera produced from the 1960s through the 1980s. The design features the iconic Playboy Rabbit Logo wearing a bow tie, set inside a bold black block alongside the text "THE PLAYBOY CLUB". This graphic element is framed by abstract, retro blocks of aqua blue, vibrant orange, and yellow.

The Playboy Club chain of nightclubs and resorts was originally launched by Hugh Hefner in Chicago in 1960. As the brand rapidly expanded worldwide, individual clubs provided customized versions of these matchbooks to their guests. Typically, the front cover showcased a unique typeface designating the specific club location—such as Miami, New York, Los Angeles, or London—while the reverse side featured this universal, color-blocked branding.
