This is a vintage fruit, dessert or fish cutlery set made by the historic Shapleigh Hardware Co., St. Louis, MO. This company was founded in 1843 and closed in 1960. The handles are made of shimmering pearlescent celluloid / lucite (often called faux mother-of-pearl or pearly plastic).
