Sadowsky's origins trace back to Roger Sadowsky, who started his own business after working as a repairman. He began making instruments in the early 1980s, and the brand grew to become a favorite among New York musicians and renowned professional musicians.
The Sadowsky MetroLine series, produced at the Warwick factory in Germany under the supervision of Roger Sadowsky, combines the best of both worlds: Warwick's high-quality tonewoods and Sadowsky's technology.
The body is constructed from ash, with a maple neck and maple fingerboard. The lightweight chambered body features a comfortable dinky shape, an adjustable nut, a back panel that can be opened without tools, and a VTC (Vintage Tone Control) that allows for both active and passive use, making it excellent for tonal shaping. It's a versatile instrument suitable for a wide range of genres, including Pop, Rock, Fusion, Funk, R&B, and Jazz.
The chambered body produces a softer, more mellow tone with a richer midrange compared to solid-body instruments. Furthermore, the installed preamp allows for a solid bottom end and sparkling treble, enabling detailed tone shaping to suit the player's style.
This versatile guitar is suitable for a wide range of playing styles and genres.
