The dispersal of a notable collection of American and English presentation silver, 20 years in the making. Most of the pieces came from the “Golden Age” of the style, the 19th and early20th centuries. Victor Niederhoffer, a successful commodities speculator when not collecting silver, took a tumble on the Thai markets in 1997, forcing him to liquidate this collection.
