Mauviel 1830 M’6S Induction Copper Cookware Set - 9 Pans, 6 Lids & Original Mauviel Receipt
Reluctantly selling my Mauviel 1830 M’6S induction-compatible cookware set, bought new directly from Mauviel / In Situ 1830 in France in January 2022. Equivalent current replacement retail is roughly over £3,000 for the cookware and lids, based on current Mauviel/Borough Kitchen pricing (£3,167 to be exact!).
To be completely clear: this is the Mauviel M’6S range, not M’Cook. The original Mauviel invoice itemises the pans as M’6S throughout, including the M’6S sauté pans, M’6S frying pans, M’6S non-stick frying pans, the 16/18/20cm M’6S saucepan set and M’6S copper lids. A copy of the receipt can be supplied with personal details redacted.
These were bought new directly from Mauviel/In Situ in France in January 2022, and I still have the original receipt, which I can include with personal details redacted (see attached, UK VAT which was added on top as they'd sold out in the UK at the time I bought them so I bought them directly from Mauviel in France).
This is the induction-compatible Mauviel M’6S line. All pans work on induction and have been used on a Miele induction hob.
Included in the sale:
The stainless steel interiors are in excellent used condition overall, with only light surface/utensil marks from normal use. No dents noted, handles are secure, and the pans sit properly on the hob.
The main condition point is cosmetic wear to the exterior copper layer/finish on some pieces. Several pieces still have very good copper exteriors, while other pieces have visible wear/loss to the exterior copper layer and show more of the stainless/silver layer beneath. This is why some pieces may visually resemble stainless pans in photos, but they are original M’6S pieces as shown on the Mauviel invoice.
Please see video and photos. The large black frying pan and the two small frying pans (black and silver) and one of the saucepans have cosmetic wear/loss to the exterior copper finish, showing the stainless/silver layer beneath. One further saucepan has a duller/matte copper exterior and appears to be showing similar cosmetic wear. This does not affect the cooking performance — the stainless steel interiors are in excellent used condition and the pans still work properly on induction. The main tired piece is the small non-stick frying pan, which is well used and may benefit from Mauviel re-coating/rechapage.
This is not a mint display set, but it is an excellent premium working Mauviel M’6S induction set with original provenance, excellent stainless interiors and a lot of life left in it. I simply don’t use it enough to justify keeping it.
Collection preferred due to the weight and value of the set, though I’m happy to discuss insured courier delivery at the buyer’s cost.
Private sale from my own kitchen. Please see all photos and ask any questions before buying.
