KF40 "Speed Flange" Architecture Designed for high-turnaround industrial and analytical environments, the dual KF40 (NW40) interfaces allow facility engineers to drop this valve directly into a foreline or roughing manifold using standard centering rings and aluminum quick-clamps. No tedious multi-bolt torque patterns are required, minimizing tool-down maintenance time.

Integrated VCR Purge / Backfill Hub The inclusion of a precision TIG-welded 1/4" VCR/Swagelok-compatible port directly on the side of the valve body is a massive mechanical advantage. It allows operators to plumb a high-purity Nitrogen (N₂) or Argon backfill line directly at the point of isolation. When the valve is closed to protect the turbopump or chamber, the foreline can be instantly vented through this side port, eliminating the need to install a separate gas-introduction tee.

Maximum Conductance When the internal flapper is locked open via the quarter-turn rotary actuator, the 1.50" bore provides a straight-through optical path with practically zero impedance. This geometry ensures roughing pumps and primary backing stages achieve their maximum rated volumetric pumping speed.

The internal sealing mechanism actuates smoothly without binding, and the quarter-turn detent locks firmly.
