Up for sale is a beautiful mid-century vintage Citizen Jet timepiece in fantastic cosmetic condition. This watch features a classic design heavily inspired by timeless luxury dress watches, highlighted by its striking fluted bezel and a textured, multi-faceted crystal edge. 

The real star of this watch is hidden inside: it is powered by Citizen's legendary, short-lived "Jet" Automatic Movement. Unlike traditional automatics with a center-mounted swinging weight, the Jet movement utilizes a peripheral ring rotor that smoothly spins along the outer edge of the gear train. It is a brilliant piece of vintage Japanese engineering that gives the watch a beautifully slim profile and a distinctively satisfying, mechanical whirring sound on the wrist. 

The Movement: 21-Jewel Citizen Jet automatic movement featuring manual hand-winding capability. Can be wound automatically by wrist movement or manually by rotating the crown clockwise in its standard position. 

Crisp, clean silver sunburst dial with applied block hour markers and elegant silvertone hands. Signed "Citizen Automatic" at 12 o'clock and "21 Jewels, Para 40M Water" at 6 o'clock. 

Solid stainless steel case paired with a sharp, distinctive fluted dress bezel. 

Acrylic crystal featuring a unique faceted perimeter ring that adds incredible vintage charm and dimension.

Comes fitted on a brand-new, high-quality smooth slate/navy blue leather strap with matching blue stitching that complements the silver dial perfectly.

The unique Jet movement is running and operating exactly as it should. The peripheral rotor spins freely and responds well to both natural wrist movement and manual hand-winding through the crown.
