The speed of attack and the rise of the sound are sharp, and the ``graininess'' of the sound when playing quickly or tapping has been dramatically improved.
At its heart is the Ibanez original Quantum pickup, which is gaining acclaim in the modern metal scene, in an HSH arrangement.

It is characterized by the crisp and bright attack characteristic of maple fingerboards.
The center Quantum single coil uses an alnico magnet, and when used in halftone with the rear/front ceramic humbuckers, it produces a glass-like delicate and sparkling cutting tone.

The Quantum pickup is tuned to emphasize the contours of the sound, so even when the gain is lowered, the sound does not become blurred, and the nuances of picking are directly conveyed.

The knife-edge fulcrum provides a smooth operating feel and the durability to withstand intense arming is unrivaled.
The neck is the ultra-thin Super Wizard 5pc neck (maple/walnut) that is synonymous with Ibanez. By sandwiching 2 pieces of walnut between 3 pieces of maple, it is both incredibly thin and rigid.
Maple wood is used for the fingerboard to enhance the rise (response) of the sound. In addition, the side position mark uses Luminlay, a luminescent material, so you won't lose your position even on a darkened stage.
The body material is basswood, which has straightforward acoustic characteristics. It's lightweight, easy to handle, and doesn't cause fatigue even during long rehearsals or live performances.
The pickup has an HSH configuration of Quantum (H) / Quantum (S) / Quantum (H). It has been designed with emphasis on low-frequency response and high-frequency sharpness, with modern sound creation in mind, and is also excellently compatible with modern digital amplifiers and plug-ins.
