'Berisfords have partnered with a leading European yarn supplier to develop a ribbon which is woven with yarns made from 100% used plastic bottles. Collected via recycling points within mainland Europe, the bottles are thoroughly cleaned then broken down into smaller plastic elements before being melted back into a liquid form then converted into filaments, which are spun to create 100% recycled yarn. 100,000 metres of 25mm satin uses 12,000 plastic bottles. that’s 12,000 bottles not going to waste, landfill or damaging the wider environment. The resulting yarns are certified by GRS which is the Global Recycled Standard and also by Oeko Tex which is the global industry standard for textiles.'
This listing is for various lengths of the ribbon shown in the Berisfords Newlife range for NAVY 13. There are currently 12 shades available and this will increase in the near future as requirements increase. These ribbons are ideal for all wedding projects, cake decoration, floral bouquets, gift wrapping, etc...
The photos show the colour of the ribbon and there is a Berisfords colour chart in the gallery. However shades may vary between devices eg: PC's, mobiles, etc... due to colour settings and display modes.
There is an option in the dropdown box above if you wish to order samples. It is a fixed price and will be snippet size pieces only, but you will receive all variations that are currently in stock.
If ordering multiple lengths eg: 5 x 1m pieces,
they will be sent as individual 1m lengths. If you order a 1 x 5m piece, this
will be sent as a 5m continuous length. If you wish your order to be sent as
different lengths than what are specified in the listing, please send an ebay
message prior to ordering, advising how you would prefer it sending and I will
try to accommodate where possible. I do and try contact customers when I see
multiple lengths, but at busier times, this is not always possible.

Postage costs are displayed on each listing and if you are purchasing
more than one item from the same or different listings, the postal charges only
need to be added once per order, not per item.
IMPORTANT: Should you require 1st
Class post or a Tracked Service, there is the option to add these at checkout,
but cannot be added after payment has been made. If
you do pay for additional services, please let me
know asap via ebay messaging (NOT the notes section at checkout), as
upgraded postal services are not flagged up by ebay and
do not automatically jump to the front of the order queue. At busier
times, I may not see your additional postal choices until I get to your order
(please read the current dispatch times advertised, as they may change
throughout the year), then I can look for your order and hopefully process it
sooner.
A little note: Apologies to all customers new and returning, I have always sent items
with 2nd class Free Postage in the 22 years I have been selling on ebay, but I
am getting more and more requests to send 1st class, without
the additional costs being added. I only charge a minimum amount for upgraded
services (in line with current Royal Mail prices. However, 1st class and
Tracked may not be sent the same day as ordered, as this is not always possible
being a one person business. If you do require same day dispatch, please
contact me prior to checking out and I can advise if it is possible or not.
