Is your driver’s footwell wet? Is your car losing coolant? Chances are this is your problem – a leak from one or both of the heater matrix pipes located in the driver’s footwell (see picture two). This is a common fault on Ford Focus Mk3 (2011‑2015), as well as C‑Max, Focus Mk2 and Kuga Mk1 models.

Ford no longer sell these parts separately to repair the leak, because the heater matrix has been superseded and the design changed. Repairing this leak now would mean replacing the entire heater matrix – a huge expense. This kit offers an affordable alternative.

Includes 2 O‑rings (Ford 1342708) and 2 retaining clips (Ford 1454337) – enough to repair both pipes (inlet and outlet) at the same time. The original plastic clips become brittle and lose clamping force, while the O‑rings harden and shrink over time. Replacing both with this kit restores a tight, reliable seal and stops the leak without having to replace the whole heater matrix.
