This 20" x 16 1/2" hand-stitched Kola Mola from the San Blas Indians was purchased by the owner in Panana from an indigenous art specialist in1966. This unusual multi-layered Mola has a small fish and what appears to be two sea turtles. The owner has framed several Molas for his own collection and plans to sell the remaining Molas to collectors of indigenous art from Latin America.
