Product description

Step 1 - Take out your old grille.

To begin taking out the old return air filter grille, open the grille door and, if feasible, separate the door for safety reasons.

Step 2 - Unscrew and detach the frame.

Unfasten the screws that hold the frame in place on the wall or ceiling, and carefully detach the frame. In case you are working on a ceiling installation, make sure to secure the frame/grille/filter to avoid it from falling and ensure your safety.

Step 3 - Take the Correct Measurements

Measure the Duct Opening (the hole on the wall/ceiling) by measuring the WIDTH first, and then the HEIGHT (e.g 24" W x 12" H), this is the size you should order.

The door/cover of the grille can be detached, making it effortless to change and clean the filter. A 1" filter is required for this grill but is not included.

Understanding the Measurements

Always measure the size of the duct opening (the "hole" in the duct/wall). Do not measure the entire size of the register itself.
Each grille has a front cover frame, that will overlay at wall joint. Entire outer size of the grille is; listed size +2 5/8-inch.
In a grille size, the first number always represents the width and the second one is the height. As an Example: If the hole on your wall/duct is 8" wide by 32" tall, order 8x32 option. If the hole is 32" wide by 8" tall, order 32x8 option.
