Complete set of 12 Inc Cakes with the 12 animals of the Chinese Zodiac, all in a fitted case, which as you can see is very old. The Chinese written on top of case translates to "Twelve Zodiac Signs Hidden Ink". Several types of Asian Art and calligraphy use this kind of ink with a brush. This is a very rare set, looks totally unused, but please look at all pictures, and feel free to ask questions. My research has told me it dates between 1900-1940 and I see only 1 other has ever sold on Ebay or a few other places I looked.
They are very dusty, but I don't dare wash them off, so I just used a dry soft cloth and got most of it off, I'm sure if they are cleaned they will look a lot better.
Case is warped, hard to close with the 2 bone chips that hold it closed. The Pig cake has chip top left, see pic of it, all others are fine.
