NOTE (about
shipping costs): Shipping prices have
increased substantially under this administration and this Postmaster
General. The postal service use to be treated as a “Public Good”, so
that whether you lived in a small town, that reflects more time and money to
deliver, your price was the same as a big city. For dozens of prior years two
things were fairly consistent:
· Price
adjustments were made in January to reflect inflation
· Prices
were very similar whether shipping to Maine, Hawaii, Oregon
Now, you can’t count on
shipping prices. They now treat the Post Office as a profit center versus a
PUBLIC GOOD. 1. Prices changed in January as usual, and later 2. prices jumped
for people that live in small towns or packages travelling farther distances.
And on 3. April 26th ALL prices increased
substantially. And who knows if all these excess profits are going
to postal carriers and workers? Or if these excess profits are going to the top
officials or this administration is skimming the profits off the top. Do you
want the postal service to be a Profit Center? Or should all Americans be
treated the same?
To counteract some of this
price gauging, you can buy 2 or more items to lower the cost per plate, or
using Legal Flat Rate envelopes you can get 10-20 plates for much lower costs
per plate.
License plates are at
least 3 years old per Ebay policy.
NOTE (about
my site): I Sell license plates for collection and display
purposes only. I do not sell plates for use on your
vehicle. I sell mostly singles but an occasional
pair. So, if you are purchasing a plate to use on a car, whether a
current car, or antique vehicle, you need to do your DUE DILIGENCE to find out
whether it can be registered in the state you live in. Again, the plates I sell
are to display on your walls, or to add to your collection. Good

1. License Plates: I sell
mostly license plates. I try to specialize in carrying a variety of
license plates from all 50 states. I try to include personalized vani Updated ties and
specialties when available. I have a few older plates and international
plates. Almost all my plates are REAL LICENSE PLATES. NOTE:
There will be VERY few if any BOOSTER/SOUVENIR plates. But I do sell some
ALPCA/NILPS plates which are for display and collection only—most ALPCA plates
have low issue #s and nice graphics. Occasionally, I sell DMV Samples,
and “Special Event” plates (Illinois plates valid on your car for 60-90
days). I rarely sell license plate frames. NOTE: Boosters, Samples,
and ALPCA plates will be specified.
2. Buy It Nows: I
have thousands of BUY IT NOWs. Feel free to send an offer to me so
that I can either accept, reject or counter. Prices on BUY IT NOWs
have deeper discounts as they have been on the Ebay market
longer. Unfortunately, Ebay buries older listings so they are harder
to find. So, the best thing you can do is to go to my site:

1. Go to ebay.com. 2. Go to “Advanced” (to the right of the Search
button). 3. Select (check) “Items in Stores” on the
left. 4. Select “Specific Sellers” toward the bottom. Enter
lpgolfer619. 5. Go towards the top right where it says “Sort: Best
Match”. Click the dropdown menu and hit “Price + Shipping Lowest First”. There
you go—you get my lowest priced items listed first. And remember,
the more items you purchase will rapidly decrease your shipping costs per
item.
3. Auctions: I
rarely end Auctions early. It is not fair to accept offers when there are
bids or lots of potential buyers "Watching". If I just
listed the plate or if no one or very few watchers that are “Watching” my item,
I can add a “Best Offer” to allow a purchase before the end of the auction.
4. Condition: Please
look at the "Condition Description". Look at Rating, look at
the picture(s), zoom in carefully and email me if you have any questions.
Please use the picture as your primary way to pick the item. I do keep
thousands of listings so I can't say everything about the plate (e.g. there is
a spot below the 2, a small scratch about the state, a pinhole at the right—so
ZOOM in on the picture). I will try to point out some things like many
steel plates have slight "corner to corner warping". PLEASE: if
you are very sensitive to condition ask for more pictures, or email me of your
concerns.
5. Shipping: Domestic: My
site automatically adds $1.25 per extra plate added to your cart. If you
are getting more than 3 or 4 plates, this $1.25 additional shipping will
over-charge you in shipping costs, so I will send a Paypal refund to adjust
your shipping costs. International: I use
the Ebay International Shipping program so please bring all
the items into your cart before buying so you don't have to pay for multiple
shipping charges—but this may overcharge you due to extra weight. The
best way to buy plates is to give me all the listing numbers. Say you
want 6 plates: I will create a new listing with a note “Special Orders”
with your Ebay name. I will add up all of those items into the new
listing so that you will only have 1 shipping charge that will be the actual
weight/
