A Practical Arithmetic by George Albert Wentworth - with the answer key in the back!

Wentworth was the author of a series of math textbooks in this period

The book measures 5x7.5” with dark brown pebbles leather or leather-like cloth cover over boards and a darker reddish brown leather over the spine. Gilt gold lettering on the spine.

Condition: Good, showing its age. The cover is scuffed, there’s a round likely water stain on front near the spine, the top piece of the spine covering is chipped off where the title likely was printed. Someone (likely a student) scrawled their name in pencil on the front fixed endpaper, first free endpaper has bent corner, and the hinge is starting on same page. Good news is the rest of the interior pages are clean, flip easily, no markings. It’s a fun little book. I think it would make a wonderful gift for a math teacher!

Please review pictures as part of the description. I strive to document condition faithfully.

I package all my books carefully for shipping in a box or padded envelope. This one is going into an archival acid-free bag now.

I am always open to some friendly haggling. I’m also happy to combine shipping with other items from my shop, which I hope you will take a moment to browse.
