This One of a Kind (OOAK) custom artist-made Canada Goose Atlantic Mold sculpture is a special edition, hand-applied, slip and scored feathers, and raised relief. It is a unique, one-of-a-kind piece that captures the essence of the Arts & Crafts Movement era. The sculpture features a medium size, multicolor palette, and is signed by the artist. Handmade in the United States in the late 20th century (likely the early to mid 1970’s) this limited edition retired piece is a stunning addition for collectors of decorative figurines, especially those interested in birds and wildlife.
When shown to a group of experts, one replied:
“someone used an Atlantic mold to create your goose and while the clay was still damp they added by hand (slip and scored) all the individual feathers on to the body and other details. If they used a specialized, custom mold it would have been very difficult if not impossible to create those feathers and removed it intact from the form. IIMO it seems to be a very unique variation artistic version that is most likely one of a kind.”
