The Cannone da 65/17 modello 13 was a 1913 designed 65mm gun used by both mountain and infantry units. Its short barrel (17 calibres) allowed it to fire low trajectory shots and its lightweight design allowed for it to be broken down into 5 parts for transportation.

The 65/17 initially served with Italian forces during WWI. By WWII these guns were fitted to trucks - both Italian and Allied to provide self propelled artillery where they were used to provide close support for the infantry and even serve in an anti tank role.

Kit is a rapid build and comprises white metal parts. Includes 5 figures and accessories.
